Sterling Silver Rare Noriega Lace Agate Pendant Necklace

A one-of-a-kind, Noriega agate pendant in sterling silver with stamped details on the reverse and a fully handmade chain.

This huge chunk of agate comes from the famous region of Northern Mexico known for producing some of the highest quality agates in the World. This particular stone orginates from a mine named after the pioneer Juan Noriega in the early part of the last century.

The pendant has been secured onto a handmade chain with oval links that closes with a handmade toggle clasp. South Western inspired stamped details adorn the reverse along with a full set of U.K hallmarks from the London Assay Office.

The silver has been oxidised which adds a unique patina giving the piece a sense of age and history. Inspired by a road trip around the many national parks of Utah which not only exhibit beautiful natural landscapes, but also hidden gems of human art in the petroglyphs dotted amongst the sun scorched rocks.

Sizing

Chain length is 17 inches (43cm). Pendant measures 4.5cm high (inc loop) and 3cm at its widest.
