Fine Silver Trilobite Specimen Earrings

Using a real trilobite, detailed impressions were taken to form a mould which was then used with silver clay to create this perfect replica in solid 99.9% silver.

Trilobites date back to the Cambrian period, some 540 odd million years ago. They roamed the sea bed in relatively shallow waters although some species were known to have adapted to explore deep oceans. A hugely successful creature, they survived right up until the mass extinction event some 250 million years ago.

These silver trilobites have been oxidised to show the wonderful detail of the exoskeleton before being hung onto handmade sterling silver ear wires.

All jewellery comes in Graceful Deviant branded boxes.
