Sterling Silver Rainbow Surfite Pendant with Fine Silver Clam Shells & Amethyst

This gorgeous piece of Surfite with its blue, green & purple stripes has been set into sterling silver and embellished with fine silver shells and twisted silver wire edging.

Surfite is the overspill resin left behind in the custom surfboard making industry. This material is hand collected so that lapidary artists can cut and polish it into the 'stones' you see here. This particular piece was from a Cornish studio and handcut in Yorkshire.

The teeny shells are made using silver clay - a wonderfully sustainable product that takes microscopic particles of silver and recycles them with an organic binder. This clay can be shaped before being fired to leave behind solid 99.9% silver.

This unique pendant comes with a full set of hallmarks for sterling silver from the London Assay Office providing you with assurance of the precious metal content.

Sizing

This pendant measures 3.5cm x 2.3cm.

The loops have a gap of 0.5cm for you to thread onto your own chain or cord necklace.
